| This afternoon as Middletown crews were working a house fire on N Union Street, Engine 35 and Tower 1 (Palmyra) were transferred to Station 88 to standby in their quarters. While on the transfer Engine 35 ran a med local and then helped crews clean up when they returned from the fire. |  |

 | Tonight around 6:30pm Company 35 was dispatched to the 2300 block of Blue Mountain Parkway for an accident with injuries. Crews arrived to find one vehicle rolled over and one patient. Members worked with controlling fluids and patient care until EMS arrived. Just after, Tanker 35 was dispatched to a brush fire in Grantville but was then placed in service. |

| Today around 5pm, Company 35 was dispatched to Avis Ln & Amber Ln for an accident. Rescue, Engine, and Chief 35 arrived to find two vehicles with one injury. Crews assisted with patient packaging and cleared the scene. Later, Air 35 was sent to Halifax to assist on a structure fire on S 4th St. Crews filled cylinders and were released by command. |  |

 | Edward Deibler, former Fire Company Chief and Last Charter Member of the Fire Co, recently celebrated his 99th birthday. Members from the fire co took the Rescue to see Ed. They also presented him with a cake and a birthday card signed by the members of the Fire Co. Ed was Fire Chief from 1936 - 1940. Ed's son was also on hand to help celebrate his special day. |

| This afternoon as storms were moving through the area Truck 35 was dispatched to assist Company 32 (Progress) with smoke from a structure. The Truck took the exposure assignment, went to the roof, and found no services needed. Crews were out for about 20 minutes. |  |

 | Congratulations to FF Carl Haederer and his wife Emily on the arrival of their second daughter. Isley Morgan Haederer was born August 5th at 9:30pm, weighing in at 6lb 15oz and 19 1/2" long. That brings the total kid number of girls at the station to almost double the boys! |

 | With the new radio system taking effect here in the county, we now have lots of low band VHF radio equipment to sell. The list includes a few Motorola Syntor 9000 mobile radios (complete), a few Kenwood mobile vehicle radios, and lots of Motorola portable radios. | Busy Evening for the L-Town Crew | Jul, 12 |
| Today as storms were moving through the area, Air 35 was dispatched to Halifax for a structure fire, but was then placed available. Then box 39-2 in Grantville was struck for a structure fire. Chief 39 arrived to find a working mobile home fire on Dallas Drive. Tanker, Air, and Rescue 35 responded to the scene to assist with fireground ops, while Engine 35 worked a fill site for tankers. Units were out for almost 4 hours. During that time Lieutenant 35 and Engine 34 (Paxtonia) handled a CO Alarm in the 35-1 Box. |

| This morning crews were alerted to a motor vehicle accident with injuries around 10:45am. Chief 35-1 and Rescue 35 arrived to find a single vehicle down the embankment and into a tree. Crews assisted EMS with patient care and packaging. Fire Police assisted with traffic control until the vehicle was removed. Crews were on scene for about an hour. ... more |

 | Today just after 5pm, box 32-6 was struck for a building fire at 2211 Paxton Church Road. Fire was reported at Ginger and Spice restaurant, PD arrived shortly and advised of heavy smoke showing. Truck 35 along with Truck 32 (Progress) took side A while Engine 37 (Rescue) took side C and used master streams to knock the large amount of fire down. Crews then made an interior attack to start the prolonged overhaul process due to rolls of carpet and padding inside one of the businesses. Truck 35 was out for about 3 hours. ... more |

Crews were dispatched to a "second alarm barn fire" so that operations and water supply crews could practice setting up a large incident water supply in the area.
