| Tonight around 8pm, Engine 35 was dispatched to assist on Jonestown Road in Paxtonia for smoke from the basement. Engine 35 arrived on scene with nothing showing from the exterior. Capt 35-1 (Rodkey) set up command until an officer from Paxtonia got on scene. The engine crew went inside to find a haze in the house and basement. The source was discovered to be coming from the furnace as a result of a clogged chimney. Crews secured power to the furnace and ventilated the building. Engine 35 was available after about half an hour. |
