| Tonight around 11:00 Engine 35 was dispatched to assist Company 33 (Colonial Park) with a reported apartment fire on Eastman Drive. Police arrived on scene and advised of fire on the second floor with possible entrapment. Upon arrival, Engine 35 hooked up to the hydrant and supplied Engine 34. Crews started an interior attack but were then called to evacuate the building due to deteriorating conditions. Elevated masterstreams were then used to knock the bulk of the fire down. Crews then re-entered the building and continued the interior operations and overhaul. The Engine was released around 3am and headed back for cleanup at the station. Great job done by Command and the crews involved. |
