| This morning around 2am, Rescue 35 was alerted to a structure fire in Susquehanna Township (37) at the top of Blue Mountain in the Clear Channel Transmitter building. Crews arrived to find fire throughout the electronics in the transmitting room. Affected media is: WHP-TV, WITF, MyNetwork 21.2, CW15 and The River 97.3FM. The rescue staged at the base of the mountain before returning home, and was out for about an hour. Additional info available at CBS 21 news. |
