| Thanksgiving started out early for Company 35 this year. Around 1:30 am Truck, Engine and Tanker were dispatched to Company 39 (Grantville) for a reported structure fire. Truck crew went to the roof and was ready to cut but was not necessary. The Tanker staged with other Tankers at a fill site and the Engine crew staged in manpower. Fire was held to the furnace area and Company 35 returned after being out for about 45 minutes. In the afternoon shortly after 3:30 pm Rescue and Engine were dispatched for an oven fire in Company 37 (Rescue). The Rescue and Engine returned just before arrival. Several minutes after returning from the 37 call the Engine was dispatched for an Oven fire in Company 34(Paxtonia). The Engine arrived and staged at the hydrant. Fire was determined to be out upon arrival of Engine 34 and Companies were returned. |
