Parade and city call

November 17, 2007

Today members wrapped up the parade season in the Harrisburg Holiday Parade with the Truck and Rescue. Crews loaded up around 7am to get some breakfast before heading to the staging location. While staged on the Market St bridge, a pedestrian was struck by a car just behind where the rescue was parked. Crews quickly notified county of the incident and assessed the patient. Injuries were to be minor, however crews assisted with patient care until EMS arrived. Command marked control and we were back to staging. The parade was a success, look for it to be televised Thanksgiving Day.
