Annual Church Service

October 07, 2007

This morning members met at the firehouse for our annual church service. Every year the fire company attends a church service to conclude fire prevention week. This year we attended St. Thomas United Church of Christ, the oldest church in the village of Linglestown. A total of 14 firefighters and their families plus Ladies Auxiliary members and Fire Police were in attendance. Shortly after the beginning of the church service Company 35 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm on Linglestown Road. 5 members responded in Truck 35. The alarm turned out to be a false alarm and members returned back to the church for the rest of the service.
