Shortly before 4:00 pm this afternoon Engine 35 and Tanker 35 were dispatched along with other area companies to assist Company 34 (Paxtonia) with a structure fire. Chief 34 responded and was advised that fireworks went off in a garage and several callers stating they see smoke but no fire visible. Engine 35 responded with 6 members and Tanker 35 with 2 members. Chief 34 arrived and advised of a working fire in the garage. Truck 35 was then called to assist and responded with 5 members. Engine 35 arrived and pulled a second line and attacked fire on the second floor. Crews assisted with fire suppression and overhaul. Engine 35, Truck 35, and Tanker 35 were out for over an hour before returning to Station 35.
